Hermit came to Purrfect Pals after her previous lifelong owner went into assisted living. Hermit was very, very shy and scared when she came to Purrfect Pals. Hermit spend several months being fostered in our Monroe prison program. Hermit bonded with her foster Dad there, and he helped reassure her and let her know that people are good to her. Hermit is still a little unsure, and does not like to be picked up. What Hermit needs to be happy is a quiet and calm household, without any other pets or children. A person or couple who is very cat saavy with shy cats would be the best fit for her. Hermit does fit her name, as she tends to spend much of the day sleeping in private places.
